A former courthouse dating back to the 16th century, the White Hart retains a number of fine original features, including ornate beams in the bar area and a large, handsome inglenook fireplace. We also have a large garden and patio area.

We have an extensive range of award-winning Adnams beers, wines and spirits made just down the road in Southwold, with some occasional seasonal specials too.

Our four ensuite chalet bedrooms, offer a comfy stay, all the essentials you need and lovely views over the Blyth Estuary.

Sunday Roasts

Every Sunday we’re delighted to offer a classic roast with all the trimmings, when we say all the trimmings, we really mean all the trimmings.

Enjoy a hearty lunch, a roaring fire and all the family.

Moules Frites

Being right by the water, we couldn’t resist! Every Thursday night, we’re serving a classic mussels in mariniere sauce with fries and a glass of Adnams for £18 per person.

Winter Lunch Menu

Enjoy lunch at The White Hart with our delicious set menu, full of hearty dishes and winter flavours.

Available Monday – Saturday, 2 courses for £26.50 per person, 3 courses for £32.

Relax in our pub garden nestled on the banks of the River Blyth and delight in watching the stunning sunsets our village pub boasts. Outside tables are on a first come first served basis.

With ample on-site parking this pub is great for walkers to explore nearby Walberswick, taking in the stunning scenery by walking along the river where many wild birds can be observed in their natural habitat, should twitching be of interest. Feel free to pop in after your walk for an Adnams tipple!
